UBC Open Minds Forum
UBC’s Open Minds Forum is an online community of current students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have opted-in to participate in surveys on various aspects of their UBC experience. By convening in a single online community, UBC's key audiences can make concerted progress on key university priorities and capture input and feedback on mutual topics of interest.
Panelists are inspired by the opportunity to influence UBC’s programs and initiatives and to stay connected with what’s new at the University.
The Open Minds Forum is more than a survey platform; it is a community management platform. We regularly report back on results from past surveys. In this way, we “close the loop” with panelists and demonstrate a more transparent approach to survey research.
The Open Minds Forum has already been utilized by numerous units across the university, which speaks to the desire to bring the collective voices of our audiences closer to strategic and operational decision-making.
